Yoga Practice Etiquette

Yoga is a journey of self discovery and respect. I encourage a harmonize and supportive environment for all.

  • Please wear clothing appropriate for the class. Modesty is traditionally a part of the yoga practice.  Dressing in a way that won't distract anyone or make them uncomfortable is a kindness to your fellow yogis.

  • For insurance reasons, this class is for participants 18+. Thank you for understanding.

  • Please be punctual for class and arrive 5-10 minutes before practice for set up and to get comfortable.

  • Before class, please let me know about any physical issues to ensure you are comfortable and safe.

  • Please keep essentials like a water bottle or a sweater close by and store other belongings in the designated area to maintain a serene space for everyone.

  • Please turn off all electronics, including cell phones, to maintain one hour of focus.

  • If you need to leave early, please let me know before practice. Aim to leave before mediation begins to avoid disturbing others.

  • Remember, the body responds naturally to movements, including burps or other sounds. It's all part of the process.

  • This is a non judgemental and safe space. Be free to be yourself.

  • Please respect the energy of another yogi's yoga mat and avoid stepping on their mat.

  • Listen to your body and safely modify poses as needed. If you are not sure how to modify, quietly get my attention and I will assist you.
